Continuing Medical Education
Continuing Medical Education – Continuing Professional Development (CME-CPD)
The EADV will apply for European accreditation through the EACCME (the European Accreditation Council for CME) based in Brussels. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) for mutual recognition of accreditation of EU-wide and international CME-CPD activities for live educational events.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of CME credit that he/she has actually spent in the educational activity and once he/she has completed and returned the evaluation form for each attended session.
Procedure to gain your credits
The EADV offers individual CME-CPD participation through the scanning of the QR CODE on the registration badge. Hostesses will scan the badge as participants pass through the entrance of each session hall.
Congress attendees will be accredited only with the hours recorded by the scanning process.
A speaker/session evaluation form will be available online and on the EADV event App for the period of one month after the end of the Congress. The CME-CPD certificate will be downloadable after completing the online evaluation.
Evaluation data is essential to our statistics and is of considerable help in the choice of future topics and speakers. Your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated.
Your CME-CPD Certificate
CME-CPD certificates will be available directly from the EADV certificate download page after completing the online evaluation of the sessions attended either on the website or via the EADV App on your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
For the download you will only need to enter your EADV log-in (if you are an EADV-member) or the credentials used during the registration process (if you are a non-EADV member). The remainder of the certificate is write-protected.
During the event, you are encouraged to pass by the CME-CPD Booth otherwise feel free to write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Personal Speaker Evaluation Data
Personal evaluation data, collected from the completed evaluation forms, will be automatically sent to the speakers. All data is treated confidentially and is generally available several months after the event. It is also envisaged to publish the top ten sessions in the EADV News.
Please refer to the national CME-CPD authority in your country of practice for the exchange of CME-CPD credits/points.
