English will be the official language of the Congress. There will be no simultaneous translation.
Computer projection facilities (for PowerPoint presentations) will be available in the meeting rooms. Presenting authors will receive all technical information and instructions prior to the Congress in order to ensure the smooth running of sessions.
Authors of the most highly ranked abstracts assessed by a selected panel of abstract reviewers may be invited to provide a short oral presentation during the appropriate thematic sessions. The authors will have 7 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion. A short PowerPoint presentation may be used, with the first slide disclosing any conflict of interest. Presenting authors will receive all technical information and details prior to the Congress.
Registration Note: At least one author (the first or the presenting author) must register for the Congress within one month of having received notification of acceptance. The abstract will otherwise be withdrawn from the programme.
Abstracts selected for e-posters will be available for viewing during the Congress in the e-Poster area. Approximately 40 computers will be provided and exclusively reserved for e-Poster consultation. Posters can be read sequentially by number, submission topic or searched individually by title, keyword or author.
All e-Posters must be submitted electronically through the M-Events website. Authors will receive an e-mail from M-Events (our service provider) with all technical information and details prior to the event.

Instructions for e-Poster Presenters
- Only material in PDF format will be accepted
- All e-Posters should be created in landscape orientation
- To assure the best quality of your e-Poster, we recommend that the .pdf file has the size of an A0 sheet (1189mm x 841 mm or 46.81 inches x 33.11)
- If you are using Photoshop to create your e-Poster, you will also be able to see the resolution, which should be a minimum of 200dpi
To keep with current trends to go green and to provide a simply paper-less solution, the EADV, like many other associations these days, has decided to stop the wastage with printed materials and will now move forward to produce exclusively digital and electronic documents.
Starting from the EADV Congress in Paris, you will no longer receive the final programme book in its printed paper format. We therefore direct you to the following links where you can either:
- download the event app (available soon)
- consult the online daily scientific programme
- download the full pdf programme on the e-Congress page (Please note the programme will available a few weeks before the event)
We strongly suggest the use of the App as it will contain the most updated information and will give you the opportunity to interact freely with all activities and facilities planned around the congress (instant access to floorplans, exhibition booths, location of meetings, completion of evaluation forms, save you favourite sessions and take notes, etc.)
